Sorting Favourites and All Programs

According to a number of search results, I can sort the favourites and
programs menus by right-clicking and selecting "sort by name".

On "all programs", right click does absolutely nothing

Favourites I can right-click, but there's no "sort" option in the menu.

Anyone got any ideas on this? I'm using IE6 and XP home with SP1.

Hello Jim,

Just make sure you are doing things right....
Click START and then move your mouse over All Programs, then move again your
mouse anywhere on the menu that have popped out, and try right clicking
there.....have you got 'Sort by Name' now... if this works just repeat same
procedure with Favorites....

Hi Goran
Actually, I cancelled my original post because I did a search on groups and
found the answer to both.

1) You have to use the "favourites" in the top IE menu (file|edit etc.)
2) I disabled "drag and drop" earlier. Re-enabling this enables me to
right-click the "all programs" list!
