Hi guys,

Here's my excel quesiton.

Attached is my excel file. As you can see I have a row marked 'weddin
date' so I'd like to sort ALL the columns (intact of course) by weddin
date, so that I can see the weddings starting from the earliest weddin
on the left to the latest on the right. Of course I could sort i
manually, but where's the fun in that? ;) When I try to select all
then sort data, it only gives me the choice of sorting by column an
not by rows (???) I'm puzzled. If you can shed some light, I woul
really appreciate it!!! :)

Many thanks,

Ja

Find out how to do it--thanks.

My next question , is there a way to sort it that way permanently, so
that if I do a new entry it will automatically fall into place by date?
OR must I select all again, data-->sort etc. evey time?

Record a macro from Tools>Macro>Record New Macro while doing the sort.

Assign that macro to a button or shortcut key combo and run it after your new
entry(ies).
