Sorting by dates

We receive information to complete projects, we put the dates the information
is received in a report so that we can keep track of them. We want to print
the report sorting ascending so that the oldest date is at the top and the
ones that we haven't recd information at the bottom. The way it sorts now
ascending is the ones with no dates are first then the oldest to the newest.
Is there any way to sort so that it sorts ascending but the blank dates are
at the back?
