Sorting and merged fields error

I am using Excel 2K and trying to sort a worksheet that
contains merged headers and hidden columns on the back end
is using VB ,when I select an area of text to sort I still
get the error that I cannot sort merged field that are not
identical sizes. I am not trying to merge the header only
the selected data. HELP... plz.

Hi Jen
I'd strongly suggest to remove the merged cells (they will cause
trouble - like you encounter with your sorting). In most cases 'center
in selection' is sufficient.
