Sorting ambiguous problem

Verson: OutLook 2003

What: I highlight a name within my Inbox and sort by tapping the "FROM" it
will take me to the top of the list with A and shows everything from there
down. However, at times, it will take me to the person that I highlight and
arrange it in that order.

Why: I don't know. It acts up.

I might: Reinstall OutLook
