sort

I have a query that is sorted assending by Provider Number. When I use the
query in a report they are not sorted properly. Is there another place I
need to sort. I only have is sorted on 1 field out of 3.

The order records appear on reports has nothing to do with the order of the
records in the underlying recordsource.

To sort on reports, you must use the Sorting and Grouping dialog.

The sorting on the query behind a report has no effect. It's the Sorting & Grouping of
the report that controls that.
Place the fields you wnat to sort on in the S & G dialog box, and choose Ascending or
Descending accordingly.
