SORT ORDER

I am using Access 2003.

I created a form for our salespeople. One field in the form is for the
salesperson's name. We want the salesperson to simply click on their name.
This field is a lookup field to a table that contains the salesperson's name
and 1 other field called "Active" (yes/no field). This field indicates
where the Sales person is currently an active employee. The table is sorted
by the "Active" field so that all of the "yes" employees come first. But I
can not get the salesperson's field in my form to sort this way. How can I
do this? Right now the Salespeople have to look through 15 names to find
theirs. We only have 6 active employees at this time and want their names to
come up first. Can anyone point me in the right direction??

In order to sort a form, your record source must contain the field you want
to sort on. Does your form contain the active and name fields in its record
source?
