Sort Order on Account

I have linked historical items to opportunites. However, on the Account
Screen, the link relationship is not honored, i.e., opportunites show first,
emails second, etc. The order should reflect the linkage or the order should
be customizable.

The default sort order of the history items in the Accounts screen is by the
'Created/Due' date. This can be modified to be sorted by 'Item' name,
'Subject' or 'Parent'. The link relationship can be identified through the
'Parent' column.
Hence, sorting by 'Parent' will group together the items linked to the
opportunity.
I hope doing this will solve your purpose.
