Sort order - Excel and Explorer

Hi,
Recently, my computer has taken to sort a numbered list in
the order "1,10,..,100,2,20..,3,30" and so on instead
of "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14" This is not helpful,
as I mainly use Excel for inventories and they are entered
in the 1,2,3,4 format. In fact this is the same for
Explorer, with photos ordered in the first example's way.
Any ideas what I need to do to get it back to normal?

Hi Robert
probably your numbers are formated as text. Try the following
- format your range of cells as 'General' or 'Number
- copy an empty cell (with CTRL+C)
- select you cells with numbers and goto 'Edit - Paste Special'
- choose the action 'Add'

try sorting again
