Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie in forum

I have a problem sort fields in table in access2003 as follows:

tablestyle(A,B,C,D,E) with the following values
A B C D E
STYLE 5 STYLE 2 STYLE 3 STYLE 1 STYLE 4
STYLE 6 STYLE 7 STYLE 9 STYLE 8 STYLE 10
STYLE 11 STYLE 12 STYLE 14 STYLE 13 STYLE 15

I want to sort fields based the end number of string as follows:
A B C D E
STYLE 1 STYLE 2 STYLE 3 STYLE 4 STYLE 5
STYLE 6 STYLE 7 STYLE 8 STYLE 9 STYLE 10
STYLE 11 STYLE 12 STYLE 13 STYLE 14 STYLE 15

Looking foward to receive your ideas to sort table as above

Pls email to : (e-mail address removed)

Thank you,
Tammy

The solution here will be to redesign the table so there is only *one*
column that contains all the styles. You can then sort as you wish.

BTW, we don't email you: you get your reply here. (If you do put your email
address here, you are likely to be spammed.)
