Sort columns with formula

Anyone know how these columns can be sorted in Excel:
Col A: =B1, =B2, =B3, =B4 (rows 1 to 4 respectively)
Col B: 7, 3, 9, 2 (rows 1-4 respectively)

I want to sort this in this way:

Col A: =B4, =B3, =B2, =B1
Col B: 7, 3, 9, 2

Col A cells link to Col B cell values (formula).
I want to sort Col A as shown above, leaving Col B as is.
Marking Col A and selecting Data-Sort - Descending does not work (at least not in Excel 2003).
