Hmm, that's the party line all right. I wonder what MVP's really are?!
Unique, humorous, knowledgeable, crafty, selfless, independent, self
reliant, sympathetic, empathetic, diligent, PATIENT, concerned, friendly,
sharing, caring VOLUNTEERS who help us all out every day, day in, day out, 8
days a week, 365 days a year.

Mostly tired and due for sleep. Now Sonia is up as well.

Very human, but passionate always <g>.

Nice slogan, but how do we pronounce it??? ;-)

BTW, that describes a lot of the people in this newsgroup, not just the ones
in sleeveless denim jackets with "Born to Point" tattooed on their arms.

Well, you have to do some of that heavy imbibing behaviour mentioned in
Windie's thread prior to having a go at it. Being a Very Useful Slogan like
it is it changes to meet the challenges of the spokesperson and their
aforementioned behavioural patterns. I took the liberty of importing all
"available" MVP pictures and did some artwork to clothe them in "sleeveless
denim jackets". I tried to post the results but the server kept
disconnecting me with a very rude message.

We keep *telling* MS we want them to filter Porn. Porn. Not corn. PORN.
Sheesh.

Well....might be he engaged in the behavoiural pattern he
mentioned before he started, and somehow 'sleeveless denim
jackets' is all they wound up with... ???

Just to add one other thing, if I may. They are also so very generous in
providing endless examples of their work for others on the newsgroups at no
cost, and numerous tips and other references, both on the newsgroups, and
their personal websites, as well as other locations, that are truly
priceless. How can you put a value on someone's imagination, and their
ability to bring it to life. The beauty, the quality of their experiences,
spurs one to expand their learning curve, to hopefully, at some point in
time, come close.....

They come, they teach, they share, they inspire. While MS can acknowedge and
reward the first three...they have no way to measure the value of the
last...

Jan :)

Wow, Mike, you and Jan are embarrassing me.

The great thing about this newsgroup is that there are *so* many people
here with all of those qualities -- it's not just the MVPs that make
this place such a good one.

But thanks, too. It's nice to get such a great pat on the back
sometimes.

-090-Sill you folks really deserve your honors. It is to the benefit of us
that skate by the seat of our pants, yet you guys manage to keep us from
winding up against the walls with monde skid marks on our backsides. I

My thanks to all MVP's ...and all the other generous responders who come
here and provide such excellent information, and willingly share their
expertise and knowledge with those of us who are trying to learn.

BTW...do I really need to wear my steel-toed boots for Boot Camp????

In your case I had to use a "body double" image. I found one on the
California Governor web site. Your jacket hardly fit your massive, pectoral
splendor!

Only if you're going to stand near Glen.

After a 57 hour flight and the Chili Beer contest, he'll be prone to ...
well, to suddenly being prone.

S

Steve Rindsberg, PPTMVP

ROFL!!! ....as I won't be getting to the hotel until about 4-ish Sat.,
maybe he'll have had a nap by then. But, I'll try to remember to watch out
for a block of cement attached to an arm I might find on the floor. ;-))

Keep an eye on the time, though. If he's on, kick him a time or two.

Yeah, I thought that was a bit harsh too, but he says really, go ahead.
It's a sign of friendship or affection or something in Australia. I dunno
