Sony Vaio Mouse Action

The mouse action of Sony Vaio computers is strange. Single clicking
(or just resting the cursor on) an item acts like a double click. Is
there anyway to stop this action and revert to Windows standard?

Yes, I don't know why Vaio's come configured this way as default. You
can easily change the mouse action back to double-click though. The
option is on the General tab of Folder Options (I know, not where you'd
expect it to be!).

Open My Computer>Tools>Folder Options>General>Click items as
follows.Here you can select your desired option.

Thanks for the inputs. I found it on my "normal" XP machine. I will
pass on the info to the person experiencing the issue.
