Sony Notebook LCD Driver

I have a VAIO FS-70B with the high res LCD but Vista will not accept the XP
driver for this devie. Instead I am forced to use the PnP Monitor. Is there
any possible solution to this problem at this stage?

1. It is the responsibility of the manufacturer of the hardware to develop
software products (drivers) that are compatible with Microsoft's operating
systems and then to provide Microsoft with these drivers so that they can be
included in the driver library of the operating system. This proceedure has
not changed since Windows was begat. Microsoft does not write hardware
specific drivers. Contact the manufacturer of the particular piece of
hardware in question and ask them why they refuse to support you, their
valued, paying customer.
