Sometimes Outlook will send or receive some times it will not.

Outlook 2007 will send email just fine. Then without any change it will not
send. Error message comes up stating server got disconnected. Sometimes
Outlook does not recognize that there are messages in the outbox. It will
say send completed, but nothing left the outbox. Sometimes it will not
receive. This occurs two or three times a day. Then as suddenly as it
started not to send or receive it works just fine. Any suggestions?
