Something installed itself in my browser

Something installed a pop up advertiser in my IE 6 over
the weekend. It gets around my SpyBOT killer and Ad-
aware attempts. I can't find it in the add/remove
software lists.

This seems very dangerous to me. Any advice would be
greatly appreciated.

Are you sure that you have the latest reference files for Ad Aware and Spy
Bot. Check that there is not an updated file - you can do that from within
the programs themselves via 'Check for updates'.
