Something good

Rofl, in that case, I've no idea why it's not working properly \
(blame OE I guess)

Probably the folks in the OE6 group could help you fix it.

Surely that would make it crippleware?

Seriously, would you EVER want to migrate to a smaller drive? This is
a very unusual situation and if that is how this particular vendor
wants to make money, I'm no going to complain.

So what you're saying is that if the two drives are the same size the
free version won't work, and if the source drive is larger than the
destination drive, it also won't work.

I didn't try it with a duplicate drive, as it makes an image there must
be at least as much space on the destination drive as there is on the
source.

I submit for both ease of use *and* for non-technical people it beats
XXCopy...

Due to craziness about liteware/crippleware I will now *disappear* again
for another year...

Why? Does it copy the whole disk, sector by sector, including the used
ones? Then it cannot be called up-to-date.

Congratulation. Now your SIG delimiter works.

If you see other with wrong SIG as you had (and there are many), tell
them your solution.

Rofl, to be honest, I tend not to notice until someone points it out ;o)

When you reply to a post, and the sig is included in the quoted text,
it's difficult to not notice.

Text is what non-binary news groups are supposed to display.
Thunderbird is OK for newsgroups but please ensure that you post as
"Text Only" in your preferences.

If you get around to using a .SIG, as shown at the end of my post,
please make sure that the first line consists of only two(2) dashes -
and a single space followed by a line feed. This allows intelligent
programs, such as T'bird. to strip the signature lines from the reply.

Thunderbird is fine. Just please upgrade to Thunderbird 1.5 when it's
released, which should be fairly soon now. Thunderbird 1.0.7 has some
bugs in how it handles quoting, and those will be gone in the 1.5
version.

If you want to try out different readers, see
<http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/2006/PL2006INTERNET.php#Newsreader>
for threee of the ones voted best by this group. There are some other
good ones too; googling for MesNews or XanaNews will turn up a couple
of them.

If you stick with Thunderbird, there's a help group for it. The server
is news.mozilla.org and the group is mozilla.support.thunderbird.
Clicking <might
take you there automagically.

If you need help with the other readers, the group
news.software.readers, on any Usenet server, is good. Agent has it's
own groups somewhere, but I don't have that info handy.
