What makes me laugh is all you hear on TV and the internet is we are having a Heatwave!

huh! hot? ... go try a Bengali Tindaloo or a Phall curry. A really good 'curry house' will/should be able to make one for you, even if it's not on the menu ... be sure to have your Will in order.

If you want a good 'curry', Indians' don't have a word for curry, then go to India. When an Indian uses the word 'curry' s/he is usually refering to a sauce or gravy, they actually use the word gravy a lot, rather than any spice. There is no such thing as a 'curry' in India.

I like a good indian, I usually make my own.

This is my fave

Salad a' la Crazyleggerz

Large spoonful of cold Moroccan Cous cous
A spoon of Potato salad
A spoon of Coleslaw
1 Sliced beefsteak Tom with a drizzle of Olive oil
1 Slice of ham
1 Slice of corned beef
Some slice of Gorgonzola Blue cheese
6 slices of Cucumber
couple of radishes
and a globule of Salad cream
1 Slice of brown bread buttered

Washed down with a cold glass of Chablis

Mmmmmm thats my Tea for later sorted and healthy too!

Friend of mine once tried a Phall curry, trying to be a smartass.
I tried the sauce. Well, tbh, I tried about 2 millimetres of sauce on the end of ONE prong of my fork. It blew my head off.

Needless to say the meal he ordered was totally inedible and he had to order another meal.

Not sure if one of them would keep you cool.

We've just finished our curry... but probably have salad later on with some rather nice Brie and olives from the deli.

keeping your fluid levels up is good, but not to much beer or spirits.
i put the water or cloudy lemonade in the fridge to cool at down.
dont like ice in drinks after a dodgy experience abroad a few years ago!
