Some Tasks freeze Outlook. Pls help

Howdy,
My problem is with some Recurring tasks.
If I try to mark them as complete Outlook freezes. (CPU 100%)
I can open the task. If I try to go to the ACTION bar Outlook freezes.
The version of Outlook is 2003 connected to Exchange.

I have connected to the data through a different mahcine with Outlook 2000
and have the same problem.

I have exported the tasks to a PST file and have the same problem with the
tasks in the personal folders.

Any ideas?
 
Not the nicest approach but a very simple one; tried recreating the Task
already?
Also contact your Exchange admin to check the performance on the server and
log files for error reports. The Exchange database may have to be checked
for consistency.
