Some of the Plus! XP screensavers are not running correctly

I have a laptop running Windows XP Home SP2. When I set the Robot
Circus as the screensaver it runs for about 30 seconds and then
stops.
My desktop comes back. There are no popup messages with errors. As a
matter of fact there are no reported errors at all. The screensaver
just stops and waits for the next time interval and does the same
start, run (for 30 seconds) and stop all over again.

Have you rebooted since this started happening? Have you tried changing the
screensaver and toggling between different screen saver settings? Sometimes
this will flush a gremlin.

Hmmm, One thing I have tried which is the known "re-install the
program will fix it" option. But that didn't work. What's weird is
that I have more than enough memory to run the screensaver but the
requirements file mentions VRAM vs. system RAM and it must be a
minimum of 16MB. Since this DELL laptop has an integrated video card
(which shares system RAM to the video card), I guess this specific
screensaver has problems running.

do you have a wireless mouse, something may be sending signals to it, or a
minor virbations may be setting off the mouse and thereby stopping the SS

No wireless mouse but I tested the same screensaver on another laptop
and the same thing happens on that machine too. Something is
interrupting the screensaver and I can't figured out what it is. I
have Plus! installed on a desktop PC running the Robot Circus
screensaver without any problems. The video cards are different on
each machine. Application wise, everything is equal between the three
machines. I think I'm giving up on this issue. What a pain.
