Hi,

Exchange 2000. Outlook 2003. Messages from a particular person usually
show in red on any of the several users inboxes that receives them.

If they are moved to another folder, they are not in red anymore.
There is nothing in the current view settings (which are mostly
default) that should cause this.

There are no rules.

I assume the sender is doing something to cause this, and would like
to know what it is.

Thanks,

Peter

Does the sender set their Importance to High?

When you post in here, always include your version, SP level, and mode (if
applicable) of Outlook - you can find this information in Help | About. Also
include the type of mail account(s) you use and any other pertinent details.
Be sure to put a concise summary of your question in the subject line, and
the full details in the body of your post.

Are they flagged for follow-up?

Yes but when I send a test message with high importance it does show
in that red font.

Peter

By golly, that's it. I removed the flag field so do not spot it
before.

Thanks, Milly.

Glad you got it worked out!
