Some Links Won't Work

Ok, has anyone had a problem were links that should open a
new window will no longer work? I think one of the latest
IE 6.0 patches did it. I noticed the problem yesterday on
my work XP machine, then later when flushing a win98
system had a similar problem (window would pop up after a
few minutes and drag the system to a halt).

I found a fix though, for anyone with the problem. Go to
the start menu and click on run. Type in 'regsvr32
actxprxy.dll' (without the 's) and press OK. Then go back
to run again and do the same with 'regsvr32 shdocvw.dll'.
For some reason it seems like the 2 dll files were
unregistered.

If this does not help, run this fix:
