Hi all,

I am having a problem in my outlook 2003. Some junk symbol that looks like a
small "p" and back arrows, at the end of each line is appearing while
composing new email, replying and forwarding emails. But the receiver end the
email goes perfect.

Can some one help me to get rid of these junk symbols?

Thanks, sekhar

I guess you are using Word as E-mail editor. What you are seeing are
paragraph marks (soft and hard returns). You should see a paragraph mark
in the toolbar somewhere and it should be checked. It's a feature to
reveal special characters so you can better see the formatting of your
document. You can choose which characters you want to see in Word by
going in the Tools menu, Options option, then View tab, and check or
uncheck the options under Formatting marks.

Alternately, you can uncheck Use Microsoft Word 2003 in Outlook's Tools
menu, Options option, Mail Format tab, under Message format

Hope this helps.
