some IPs ot available on network

hello folks,

I have a Win 2k Server SP4 Machine with SP4 and RRAS. That machine connects
to the internet, NAT enabled and static routes set to the demand dial
connection and to the local area network connection.
On the Server machine I can browse to any page on the internet no problem at
all. On the client machines there are some IP addresses that are not
accessible or pingable (i.e) Microsoft.de is pingable Microsoft.com isn't.
DNS works fine no problem.

Any ideas,

thanks

Anton

Many Internet hosts block ICMP traffic so they cannot be pinged.
Microsoft.com is not pingable.

Thank you Marc for responding

well not just not pingable its IP is ass well not available in IE, as a view
other IPs. Lets say 10% of all sites are unavailable on client machines. On
the server 100% are available.

Do you have any idea for that behaviour of RRAS Marc?

thank you

Anton
