Ok this is my second post on the matter of my HD Boot
problem - I boot up my PC and it gives me the "Not
shutdown properly" message and asks me if I want to start
normally etc but for every option - even advanced options
they all bring up an error! Someone has given me the link
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=297185 - My problem is
Number 2 (Damaged File System) - but I don't have a boot
CD-Rom, I only have a Recovery Diskette - which tells me
it's corrupted and cannot find Command.com and tells me to
locate it - I am without doubt stuck :D

Final notes;
The OS is XP
The HD is the 1st Slave

Thx alot

Mainly I can't do teh " If this is the case, restart the
computer to the Recovery Console, and then use the
chkdsk /r command to repair the volume. After you repair
the volume, check your hardware to isolate the cause of
the file system damage." - Recovery Console ?
