Solution for RR Home Page Issue

Step 1:

Go to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/912945/en-us and download
the patch for your edition of Windows (I used XP home edition). Click SAVE
and save it to your desktop. Close the window and then double click program
icon and follow instructions on Wizard. Restart your compter when finished.

Step 2: Go to
http://www.macromedia.com/support/flashplayer/sys/settingsmanager.swf?defaultTab=localinformation .

When the settings manager panel has loaded, click on "delete all sites" and
then "confirm".

Step 3:

Go to http://www.rr.com/flash where you will see a map-choose your state and
then your internet provided. Hit enter and your home page will be reloaded.
You will have to go into internet options and reset this page as your home
page.

The last reply I posted, the patch worked until I closed my browser and then
it didn't. This is the only way it can be done. I hope this helps all of
you out there.

I did everything that you said, still having problems! Only certain things
load! Mostly no pictures! Hope I downloaded right patch, is it the last one
on the list? this is really frustrating!

It sounds like you went to the right download page. If you downloaded it,
saved it and then opened it, restarted, go to help.rr.com and have one of the
techs walk you through. There is something else that you do in internet
options, security, custom. Ask him about that be cause I don't remember the
exact things you have to have enabled. Tell him you downloaded and installed
the patch and let him walk you through it from there. Good luck!

I just got done chatting with an analyst from RR, they didn't walk me through
anything, they told me that RR engineers were working on the problem and
hoped it would be fixed soon! They told me to be patient, but to feel free to
re-contact them if its not fixed in a day or two!
