SOLUTION for "can't send out emails"

If your IT provider is BT, ring 0800 800 030 and they will adjust your SMTP
only for Vista Mail by entering your computer.
 
Thank you so much for this - I have been tearing my hair out all weekend and
was just about to reinstall and lose all my mail.

They advise change Port from 25 to 587
and it works.
