The software hasn't. How do I, legally, transer the
Office package to a new system?

The software hasn't. How do I, legally, transer the
Office package to a new system?

Simply reinstall Office on the new computer.

If a retail package, remove and install on the replacement. If an OEM
package, it reaches end-of-life the same time the laptop does.
