Often I have used "Hardware RAID card" for server MIRROR, so any one of hard
disk failed, I can recover data by another hard disk.

On the other hand, I just found one old NT server, which is running NT
software RAID (MIRROR), and the master harddisk failed. But I could do the
same recover procedure, why ? any different between them ?
