Software Permissions

I am having problems with some of the software that I've installed. I have
been installing software when logged into my account that has full admin
privileges. Whenver another user wants to run the program, the permissions
don't allow them to run it.

Should I be installing software in the 'safe mode'? What do I have to do to
modify the permissions of the software I have already installed so that all
users can run the software? I am new to XP.

Modify them manually..
