Software or Web Service to create Signature

Hello,

I'm looking for either a software or web-level service that can create an
exact duplicate of my hand-written signature. I exchange legal documents,
and being able to sign an e-mailed Word doc would certainly facilitate
matters.

The usual way it is done, but I have no idea as to how legally valid it
is, is to sign a piece of paper, scan that using a scanner, and just
past the image into the document.
