software issue on start

I just transferred & installed zonealarm pro from my old computor to my new
computor. When I tried to access the internet a popup said that there was a
problem. so I restarted my computor and now after the desktop appears and as
soon as the zonealarm icon appears at the startup the computor shuts back
down to bootup again. What can I do to quickly stop the zonealarm app from
starting up. Any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated also.

Try logging on as machine Administrator account or in Safe Mode.

To boot the computer into Safe Mode, repeatedly tap the F8 key as the
computer is starting up. This will get you to the right menu. Navigate
using your Up arrow key; the mouse will not work here. Once in Safe
Mode, you will see the normally hidden Administrator account. The
default password is a blank in XP Home. In Pro it is whatever you set
it as.
