Hi,

I'm looking for a cheaper software that allow to create easily help files
for PocketPC devices.
I know how to do modify manually the HTML but I'm looking for an automatic
solution.

Any suggestion ?

Thank you in advance.

What does that mean? You want some software that figures out what your
program does and creates a help file for it?

Word will output HTML, as will basically every word processing application.
There are numerous HTML editors on the market, too. I think you'll have to
be a bit more-specific, if none of those things will work for you.

I mean an authoring software that allow to manage HTML and is able to export
them in a format that can be used as help files in a PocketPC application.

I'm sure that you know that in PDA the help files (HTML) have to includes a
special TAG, something like PEGHELP, and the images have to be bmp but the
extension have to be 2BP.

I'm looking for a software where I can manage the HTML files like an editor;
the same software is able to export the file to be used in PDA.

I found it "EasyHelp" http://www.easyhelpweb.com but it is little bit
expensive. I thought that someone of you knows something more cheaper...

$299 is expensive? Seems like that's probably less than the cost of 1 or 2
support incidents, which I assume the Help files would help prevent...

Take a look at Help&Manual, I've seen some information there about
generating help for devices: http://www.ec-software.com/

The product price is adjusted to its feature set.
