Audiograbber
Has all the common features for cd-ripper programs like normalizing,
encoding of external files, track names download/upload to freedb, ID3
tags, CD-TEXT support etc.
The line in sampling function can automatically split recordings from
LP's into separate tracks and it can use a noise reduction plugin from
Algorithmix.

The following appears in the getting started:

Note: if you have the free version you'll only be able to rip half of
the files. However, if you restart the program, a different half will be
selected. So, you can write down the tracks you have ripped, restart the
program, and rip the tracks you didn't rip already. You'll end up with
all the tracks on your drive after all. (See why there's a good reason
to buy the full version?)

Is this true or is this left over from the products shareware days?

Go to the official website (google for it) and download the latest
version...no restrictions, freeware.
Then go to mitiok.cjb.net and download the latest version of Lame
encoder, place it in Audiograbber folder and start ripping your cds
