so slow

my computer is so slow! I don't have a lot of memory, but I've removed
everything I can think of that isn't absolutely necessary. I don't know what
else to do!!!!!!

You've cleaned up, removed temp files, and checked startup processes for
funny looking things eating too many resources or giving memory leaks and
then disabled them or updated them to better versions? Check for malware...

Please help us to help you. Define what you mean by "so slow." Is this
slowness a recent problem or has it always been this way? If recent, when
did it start?

How much memory do you have? What processor and speed do you have? What
have you removed?

What anti-virus, anti-spyware, and firewall programs do you run? Are they
all kept up to date?
