SNMP query printerstatus

Hello,

i have a little problem with our MS Windows 2003 printserver. The server
querys the status of the networkprinters by using SNMP. If the status change
to offline, no paper or other the server does not print to this
networkprinter. The time to refresh the SNMP status is very long. If i need
a printer quickly i must restart the spooler service. This set the status
back to ready.

How can i change the cycletime between the SNMP querys?

Delete any unused Standard TCP/IP Ports. There is a QFE that changes the
way Standard TCP/IP Port polls devices that are offline or in an error start

Print jobs that you send to a Windows Server 2003 print queue when the
printer is out of paper take a long time after you add paper

Thank you...
It looks it would be the correct solution. I will try it.
