Folks:

I am watching some videos on DVD using many different video players like
Real Media, etc.
Frequently, I would pause the video to grab a snapshot using (Alt + PrtSc).

But this is NOT working. Instead of getting a regular graphics file (which
I like to paste into Microsoft Word), I end up with the entire dynamic
(moving) video. This means that when I hit the play button the "graphics"
pasted into Microsoft word starts to change in sync with the video player. I
no longer have a static graphics file

* Can anyone explain why this is happening ?
* How can I grab static graphic snapshots from the paused video ?
* Is there a video player software that will allow ordinary simple
snapshot (of videos) that result in regular simple graphics.

My favorite video player is Real Media. Bit I have used other Players
without getting the desired result.

Thanks,
John.

Thanks for the information. (Ctrl + I) works beautifully and all without
the need for any additional of 3rd party software.

* Do you have a similar technique for Real Media Player ?
* For Windows Media Player is there a way to configure this snapshot
feature to NOT ask for the storage location all the time ?

Thanks,
Jo
