Snapshot report printing error

I am using Access 2002. I have several reports with
headers and footers that I print in snapshot format.
These are variable length reports. On occasion, it seems
like the header or footer is covering the text in
the "detail" section. This can be corrected for an
individual report by going to page setup and changing the
top or bottom margins. There are no margin settings that
works with every report. How can I prevent this
overlap?

Also on occasion, I notice that the top part of a line of
the "detail" section is on one page and the bottom part
of the same line is on the next page. I have carefully
aligned the report and made sure that all the controls
are of equal height. Do you have a solution for this
problem?

Hi.
I have had similar problems before. What I found was that
when I set the size for the text-boxes and labels to fit
(from the format menu). Than also set the size to grid.
Most always this resolved the problem.
Good Luck
