SMTP Mail Query

If my SMTP mail server is "Mydomain.com" then does it mean that the from
field has to be (e-mail address removed) ?

If this is the case then what happens if it is on a testing server and has a
temp address e.g "195.##.##.##" ?

Its not required that your from should have the same domain name.
