SMS remote control problem

I cannot remote control a user using her machine name, but
i can using her ip address. Thought that she might not be
a member of the local bldg remote user group, but she was.
Tried:
Start run > cmd
NBTSTAT -RR <ENTER>
NBTSTAT -R <ENTER>
IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS <ENTER>
rebooted
This did not work either.

Any ideas?

When you ping the machine name, does it resolve to the right IP?

Or the opposite approach, does the IP address that works resolve to the
machine name you think it should? Use:
C:\> nslookup 127.127.127.127
