Smooth Scrolling keeps resetting to off

Anyone have a solution to the problem of Internet Explorer's Smooth
Scrolling option (Tools...Internet Options...Advanced) resetting al by
itself to "off" after you turn it on? I haven't yet figured out if it
only happens after computer reset, but I believe that is the case.

I'm having the same problem. I bought a Dell laptop a couple months
ago and smooth scrolling resets itself to off every time I reset my
computer. Does anyone know what's going on with this and how to fix
it?
