My inter browser 6 on win2000 now irects every directly
typed http url via this stupid smiley central page which
shows me that window with the smileys. It doesnt happen
with links followd from the Favorites. No idea where it
came from, I never downlaod or install stuff like that.
Clearly my URL input box is being intercepted. I have
tried ad-aware etc but they do not seem to detect this.
Is there something I can do ? where in the registry is
this held ?
it is driving me mad.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
