I just got a new version of office (XP). I now see those
really cool smiley face icons, instead of the sideways
colon and paranthesis, when I type an email. Well, a few
of my friends love it. I have seen it from other
emails...but I have no idea of how that is set as a
setting. I would like to help them find the setting so
that they can enjoy the smiley faces too. Can anyone help
me out?

This is done by Word (AutoCorrect option) so you must now have Word set as
you're e-mail editor (Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format)
