smart client deployment

Hi,

We are developing a smart client app. to be used internally only. A
few pieces of the app. must be able to save file to the client's
machine.

I'm looking for a few suggestions on how to best accomplish this.

It depends on what you mean by smart client deployment. If you mean
ClickOnce, then you're out of luck as it's not supported by the .NET Compact
Framework.
