Small thing-LAC Status Packets->Bytes

How do I change the Local Area Connection Status window
to say Bytes instead of packets? I think having bytes
instead of packets is easier to know how fast my
connection is running.

Many of us have tried to do this for awhile
now, with no luck. Seems to be hard-coded
into the NIC driver.
