Small Icons, Large Windows Logo?

O

On The Pike

Greetings all,

For whatever reason, I am stuck with the large animated bitmap (windows
flag) in the upper-right corner of the Explorer/IE toolbar even though I am
using small icons and no text labels. I would like to use the small icon
rather than the large icon already there.

I have checked both places in the registry where I assumed I'd find entries
for the logo, however there are none. Therefore, there is nothing to edit,
nor do I wish to utilize my own bitmap. I'd simply like to use the default
small logo rather than the large logo.

Would anyone know the C-drive path to the logo? Once there I could simpky
rename the larger icon to the value of the smaller icon. Problem is, I
cannot find the image.

Thanks,
Jeff

If your "Standard Buttons" toolbar is on the top row - even when it is
configured to use Small Icons/No Text labels - it will force the flag bitmap
to be big. You need to move the "Standard Buttons" toolbar down one row by:

- unlocking the toolbar (right-click the toolbar and uncheck "Lock the
toolbars"
- dragging the left edge of the standard buttons toolbar down
