I haven't used MM1 for some time, and don't have it as a version any more,
but if it is offered it will be in the effect pallette under slow down. You
drag the effect onto the clip you wish to slow down, do it again to slow it
some more.
If it doesn't have the option, try downloading SP2 and get MM 2.1, or get
the inbetween version MM2 from this page http://www.myvideoproblems.com/WebPages/UsefulProgrammes.htm
