Hi,

I'm looking at replacing my current motherboard/processor. The new
motherboard/processor I am looking at is the

Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H / Phenom II X2 545

I would rather not replace my memory which I think is DDR2 667 (not in
front of me at the moment). The specs for the motherboard list the
usable memory as

DDR2 1333(O.C.) / 1066 / 800

Is it possible to use slower memory or will I need to upgrade the memory
as well (or find another motherboard).

Thanks,
John

The only way to know for sure is to try it. If the system doesn't boot
or is flakey, suspect the memory.

Thanks. I'll find a different motherboard then. That would be
expensive to test.
