slow XP progies!!

Have an application that works just fine in XP but it is
a 16bit application. It would appear though, that every
day the app gets slower and slower. We are upgrading to
a new software replacement but that is not for another 6
months....

Any thoughts?

Hello!

There's no great advice I can give here, other than checking with the
manufacturer of the program to see if there are any adjustments they've
found that will improve the performance of their application under XP.

Do you leave the program running? Does it help if you shut down the
application and then restart it in a different VM?

Check you environment settings from the programs PIF file or in your
autexec.nt/config.nt . Make sure the setting is equivalent to the previous
machine you have been using or the supplier's recommendation.
