Slow--vb 2005

Very slow, when I change the Name property of any controls.
VB check whole project to change the name accordingly.
Is the whole project be loaded in memory.
Right now I have 2GB, could the situaltion be better if I increace another 1
or 2 GB?

Do you have the service pack installed? It seemed to increase
performance quite a bit for me.
